Namaste, I’m Devanshi -
A designer who blends art, empathy, and usability to tell meaningful stories.
My journey into design began back in Grade 6, when I joined my first drawing class. What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into something much bigger — I fell in love with art. I loved the quiet joy of sketching, the patience of shading, and the way colours could express what words sometimes couldn’t.
As I grew older, my world expanded — not just on paper, but on screen. I became curious about the digital side of creativity, how visuals could come to life through design software and pixels. That curiosity led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, where I focused on graphic design. It was here that I learned how to shape communication through typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
But something was still missing.
The more I designed, the more I wondered —
Who is going to use this? How will they experience it? Can it be more than just beautiful — can it be helpful?
That’s when I discovered User Experience Design, and everything clicked.
Today, I bring together my love for visual design and my growing passion for human-centered thinking. Whether I’m refining the sign-up flow of an app or building a research plan, I always start with people — their needs, their habits, and their emotions.
Design, for me, is not just about how things look. It’s about how they work, how they feel, and how they fit into someone’s life.
When I’m not designing, you’ll find me watching nostalgic Bollywood films, painting just for fun, or helping my younger sister create her next social media post (she’s the influencer in the family!).
Thanks for visiting — I hope my work speaks to you, and if it does, I’d love to connect.
